Nandini D. Kohli, M.D. earned her medical degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI in 1985. She was a Senior Staff Physician at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan for the next 17 years before she moved to Austin, TX in 2002.

She founded Austin Primary Care Physicians specializing in Internal Medicine with a strong emphasis on prevention of disease and maintenance of health. She serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Dept of Internal Medicine at UTMB school of medicine.

In addition to ambulatory Internal Medicine practice, she has trained in several affiliated fields of medicine. She is experienced in treating menopausal health issues, general Dermatology, alternative or complementary medicine, joint injections, and cosmetic procedures.

Nikhil Agarwal, MD earned his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, India. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Johns Hopkins University / Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland in 2008 and has been practicing Primary care since then. He has been recognized by The Leading Physicians of the World and is a member of the International Association of Internists and Texas Medical Association. Dr. Agarwal has served as a Medical Director for Hospice programs and nursing homes.

He is proficient in treating all common and complex adult medical problems. Areas of particular interest include Diabetes, Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, Dementia, Stroke, Heart diseases, and geriatric care to name a few.

Dr Agarwal's mission is to provide comprehensive, compassionate and respectful primary care services to adults and their families promoting sound health, quality of life, and dignity.

Shannon Flesher is Nationally Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Masters of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M in Corpus Christi.

Shannon joined APCP in Feb 2012 and is an active member in the Austin Advanced nurse practitioner group and Texas Nurse Practitioners. Prior to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, Shannon worked as an Emergency Room Nurse.

In addition to primary care medicine Shannon enjoys educating her patients with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease.

U. Nanda Kumar, M.D. earned his medical degree from the University of Kerala in India. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio in 1974. He completed his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care in Wisconsin and California.

Dr. Kumar has over 33 years of experience. He spent 29 years as the Medical Director of the Pulmonary Section, Respiratory Care Department, and Critical Care Departments at Trinity Memorial Hospital and St. Luke's South Shore Hospital in Cudahy, Wisconsin. He joined Austin Primary Care Physicians in 2009 and practices Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. He practices primary care medicine with a special interest in sleep disorders, acute and chronic lung disease, including emphysema, asthma, and pneumonia.

Lindsie Cox is an AANP Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who spent her nursing career in the Intensive Care Unit prior to completing her Family Nurse Practitioner license. She received her Master's of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin and Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.

Lindsie joined Austin Primary Care Physicians in August 2011. She is an active member of Austin Advanced Practice Nurses and serves on the board of directors as the Education Planning Committee Chair. Lindsie was recently published in The Nurse Practitioner for her research on peripheral arterial disease.

In addition to primary care medicine, she counsels patients regarding healthy lifestyle and weight loss in patients with diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and other chronic illnesses.
